Board & administration

Committed to Our Club and Its Swimmers

Skyline Swim Club is led by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by dedicated administration. Together, they provide the leadership, oversight, and day-to-day support that keep our Club running smoothly.

From managing finances and planning for the future to coordinating meets and communicating with families, much of their work happens behind the scenes. Their efforts help create a positive, well-organized environment where coaches can focus on coaching and swimmers can focus on swimming.

Meet the people who contribute their time, experience, and dedication to making Skyline Swim Club a great place to swim.

Heather has been involved with Skyline Swim Club since its founding in 2022, serving as both Vice President of the Board of Directors and Club Administrator. She brings extensive experience in swimming governance, officiating, and meet administration, along with a strong commitment to supporting swimmers, coaches, and families.

Heather holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah and works professionally in research administration for the Huntsman Cancer Institute's Cancer Biostatistics program.

Her involvement in competitive swimming extends well beyond the Club. She currently serves on Utah Swimming's Governance Committee and previously served on its Board of Directors as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Chair from 2021 to 2025. She has also served as Meet Director for three state championship meets.

Heather holds certifications as a referee, starter, stroke and turn judge, and administrative official for both USA Swimming and UHSAA swimming. She is also NCAA-certified and volunteers as an official at NCAA Division I swim meets.

In recognition of her contributions to the sport, Heather received the 2025 Utah Swimming Volunteer of the Year Award and the 2026 USA Swimming Outstanding Service Award.

Swimming is also a big part of Heather's family life. All six of her children have swum with Skyline Swim Club over the years, with four currently participating. Her family's continued involvement has strengthened her commitment to the Club's long-term success and to a positive, supportive program where every swimmer can learn, improve, and enjoy the sport.

Heather's experience as an administrator, official, volunteer, and swim parent gives her a broad perspective on competitive swimming and a deep appreciation for the athletes and families who make up the Skyline Swim Club community.
